Team USA Football Wide Receiver, Four-Time Medalist & 2024 World Champion Represents Emerging Generation of Flag Football Stars.
ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 25, 2026) – TMRW Sports today announced Isabella “Izzy” Geraci as a professional flag football ambassador for the new pro league. As one of the sport’s most recognizable athletes and premier playmakers, Geraci will serve as an ambassador and spokesperson for the new pro league being developed by TMRW Sports in partnership with the NFL. Earlier this month, Geraci helped Team USA Football capture a silver medal at the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championship in Düsseldorf, Germany. She joins fellow TMRW Sports pro flag football ambassadors Ashlea Klam and Vanita Krouch, who is also serving as the league’s lead for player relations.

Geraci is a member of USA Football’s U.S. Women’s National Team and one of the sport’s most dynamic wide receivers. Alongside her teammates, including Klam, she helped Team USA Football capture the 2024 IFAF Flag Football World Championships and earn a silver medal at the 2026 World Championships, playing both wide receiver and defensive back. At the 2026 World Championships, Geraci had 292 receiving yards, four touchdowns, and a pair of interceptions. She also helped Team USA Football win silver at The World Games in 2025, tying for the team lead with 10 touchdown receptions. As the sport’s national governing body in the U.S., USA Football selects, trains and leads Team USA Football in international competitions, including the 2028 Olympic Games.
Geraci joining USA Football’s program after returning to football following a Division I basketball career at Cleveland State University and USC Upstate, where she was named Female Newcomer of the Year. Her rapid rise from college basketball to the international flag football stage has made her one of the sport’s most recognizable young stars.
A lifelong multi-sport athlete from North Ridgeville, Ohio, Geraci has become one of flag football’s most influential ambassadors as the sport builds toward its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. She has appeared on national media platforms including NBC’s Today and has collaborated with the NFL and USA Football on initiatives supporting the increased visibility of flag football. Off the field, Geraci works with many of the world’s most recognizable brands on campaigns centered around performance, health, wellness and women’s sports, bringing an authentic voice and connection to the next generation of flag football athletes.
TMRW Sports and the NFL are launching the professional flag football league prior to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Fans will experience the league’s fast-paced, elite-level competition and tech-forward presentation from the first-ever, purpose-built stadium for flag football. Ultimately, professional flag football aims to deliver data-driven storytelling and technology that immerses audiences in the sport’s speed, agility and athleticism. Adding this pro-level tier will play an important role within flag football's broader global pathway, capping an expanding youth, high school, collegiate, international and Olympic ecosystem with the opportunity to compete professionally for women and men.
The league has support from a broad and influential investor pool, including all 32 NFL club owners, established institutional and strategic investors, and current and former NFL players, reflecting confidence in the sport's long-term growth potential and increasing global relevance.
TMRW Sports has formed a strategic partnership with the International Federation of American Football, the international governing body for American football and the IOC-recognized federation responsible for flag football competitions in the Olympic Games. This partnership is designed to further accelerate the global growth, visibility and accessibility of flag football. At the 2026 IFAF World Championship, Canada’s women’s and men’s teams, Italy’s men’s team and Mexico’s women’s team joined the U.S. women’s and men’s teams as the first teams to qualify for flag football’s Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
More than 20 million people currently play the sport around the world, with participation continuing to increase across all levels. Approximately 4.1 million youth play flag football in the U.S. alone – more than a 50% increase since 2020. Flag football is now offered in high school in 40 states, with the number of young women playing on their high school teams increasing by nearly 60% from 2024 to 2025. In addition, more than 250 colleges and universities across the country now offer women’s flag football programming. The NCAA recently approved flag football as part of the Emerging Sports for Women program and voted at its spring meeting to recommend that Divisions I, II and III add a National Collegiate Flag Football Championship as early as spring 2028.
